Under this new administration, parents have to re-learn how to navigate an ever-changing collegiate landscape. We want to give parents as much agency as possible to ensure that as many students of color successfully enter into the college of their choice.

About the event
Equity is the goal, but the only way this is possible is if our students learn the necessary steps to perform in excellence. In a society that is no longer set up for their success, we have to train our children to meet the challenge of a world that is not designed for their success.
With the erasure of opportunities for students of color including cohort-based programs and designated scholarship dollars, we have to be deliberate about the conversations that we have with both parents and students. These conversations have to be deliberate, direct, and focused on the tactics that can be utilized to balance the scales.
